Structural & Thermal Roof Rebuild
Replace lower-sloped cathedral roof in a house built in early 1960’s. This roof has been problematic over the decades (water infiltrations, condensation, leakage, ice-damming, etc.). Our clients wanted to solve a vexing problem, once and for all, while honoring the architectural legacy of their home.
Project included removal of several layers of roofing and existing insulation (to structural internal exposed ceiling roof decking) and build out new structure to accommodate new heightened insulation values and ventilation capacities. New structure specified to align and absorb (straighten out) the inconsistencies of the existing roof structure.
Install new heritage metal roofing, along with matching facias and soffit.
